1. Ownership of Rights

Copyright and other intellectual property rights in the data downloadable from this site belong to PATLITE CORPORATION (“PATLITE”) or the right holders from whom PATLITE has obtained the necessary licences for their use.

2. Use of Data

Users of this site who are registered as PATLITE Web Members (“Users”) may use the data downloaded from this site (“Downloaded Data”) free of charge and on a non-exclusive basis, only in accordance with these Terms and Conditions for Data Download (“Terms”).

3. Purpose

The data disclosed on this site (“Disclosed Data”) and the Downloaded Data may be used only for the following purposes:

1. Messages, melodies, alarm sounds and other audio data (“Audio Data”) or software data (“Software Data”): Users of PATLITE products may transfer such data to PATLITE products and run them only on PATLITE products.
2. CAD data of PATLITE (“CAD Data”) or PATLITE product specification data (“Product Specification Data”): Users of PATLITE products may consult such data as a reference to repair or renew PATLITE products. Prospective buyers may also use the data for evaluation.

4. Prohibited Acts

1. Downloaded Data may not be reproduced, modified, altered, decompiled, disclosed, replicated elsewhere, assigned or lent, in whole or in part.
2. Audio Data may not be used for any purpose other than that stipulated in Article 3; it must not be used with non-PATLITE products.
3. Software Data may not be used for any purpose other than that stipulated in Article 3; it must not be used with non-PATLITE products.

5. Notes on Disclosed Data and Downloaded Data

Please acknowledge the following before using Disclosed Data and/or Downloaded Data:

1. Not all models released by PATLITE in the past are disclosed on this site.
2. Some products included in the Disclosed Data may have been discontinued or may no longer be available for sale.
3. The Disclosed Data consist of information available at the time of the original product release.
4. PATLITE reserves the right to determine the type and content of Disclosed Data and the period of availability.
5. Software Data are not supported by all computer systems. Some systems may be unable to import them in part or in whole.
6. CAD Data do not guarantee the specifications and/or performance of the corresponding products.
7. PATLITE makes no warranty regarding the consistency between values extracted from CAD drawings and the actual products.
8. CAD Data are provided as an intermediate exchange format and are not supported by all applications. Some CAD applications may fail to import the data in part or in whole.
9. If Users plan to export, carry outside Japan, or provide Downloaded Data to a non-resident, directly or indirectly, they must comply with the Foreign Exchange and Foreign Trade Act of Japan, the US Export Administration Regulations, and all other applicable laws and procedures.

6. Downloading CAD Data

1. PATLITE makes no warranty regarding the consistency between the values extracted from such data and the actual products. For specifications and dimensions, please refer to the official product specifications.
2. 2D data are provided in DXF format (Ver. R12/L12).
3. 3D data are provided in one of the following formats:
   A. IGES
   B. STEP
   C. PARASOLID

7. Downloading Product Specification Data

Safety Precautions for PATLITE products are included in the Product Specification Data or in a printed leaflet enclosed with the product packaging. The data available on this site include only specification data. These Safety Precautions may change in line with legal requirements; however, the version included corresponds to the requirements in force at the time of initial product release and may not be the most current. Please contact PATLITE customer service for enquiries regarding Safety Precautions.

8. Termination or Change of Downloading Service

The services available on this site may be withdrawn, and their content and conditions may change without notice. PATLITE also reserves the right to revise these Terms without notice. Revised Terms take immediate effect upon publication on this site.

9. Termination of Utilisation Agreement

PATLITE may terminate the utilisation agreement with a User if it determines that the User has violated any provision of these Terms, acted against public order or law, defamed PATLITE, or engaged in any act likely to cause damage to PATLITE in connection with the services on this site. In such cases, the User must immediately cease using all Downloaded Data. This also applies if the User loses membership status of PATLITE Web Member.

10. Limitation of Liability

PATLITE shall not be liable to Users for any direct or indirect damages arising from the use or inability to use the services provided on this site (including but not limited to data loss, operational interruptions or loss of business information), even where the likelihood of such damages or third-party claims was known in advance.
